10U Manager / 16U / 12U Coach
Ryan Ellis
Ryan has been involved in professional baseball as a minor league player, coach, and manager for more than 20 years, including coordinator roles and MLB experience. While in the New York Mets organization, Ryan was honored with two Managers of the Year awards, one Coach of the Year award, and organizational development awards. His background includes managing, hitting, and infield duties, and he is well-versed in all aspects of player development.

Megan Kuehhas
Megan earned a degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences, as well as Sport Management, from the University of Florida. During her time at UF, she gained valuable experience working with the Florida Gators Football Team and Athletic Department. Megan worked as an assistant coach for a middle school girls’ basketball team, and she has also worked in the Community Relations department with the New York Islanders.
Her extensive background with professional and collegiate sports teams, hospitality, and non-profit organizations has laid a strong foundation for her career in Public Relations and Community Affairs at McNicholas & Associates.

14U Manager
Marty Stern
Marty is a highly successful youth baseball coach and laser focused on his children and wife. His former players made up 1/3 of the 2021 Martin County team that played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He has had a successful real estate career serving Palm City and St. Lucie over the past 20 years and currently is Regional Account Executive at C & C Industries / Business Development Specialist eLiquitech and TTI.

16U Manager / 13U Coach
Luis Carpio
Luis was born in Caracas, Venezuela and was drafted as a second baseman by the Detroit Tigers. He also played SS and 3B for the Tigers as well as the New York Mets. Luis is known for his footwork and educating young players on the fundamentals of being a world-class infielders.

14U / 12U Assistant Coach
Tom McNicholas
Tom McNicholas is an assistant coach on the field, but off the field he leads business operations for Florida Baseball Club. As a former Division-1 Tennis Player he brings a unique perspective and helps young athletes with mental preparation and team culture. As President and Owner of McNicholas & Associates he has more than a decade of experience doing business development projects with several MLB teams including the Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Washington Nationals, Toronto Blue Jays and others. That experience is now being used to rebuild and renovate underutilized baseball fields for Martin County Little League teams.

11U Head Coach
Michael Brantley
Michael Brantley is from Bellevue, Washington, and played professionally in Major League Baseball for 15 seasons with the Cleveland Guardians and Houston Astros.
​
During his time in the MLB, he reached the World Series four times, including winning in 2022. Known as one of the most disciplined and consistent hitters in the game, Brantley earned five All-Star selections throughout his career.

He now focuses on developing young athletes, helping them grow in all aspects of life while preparing them for the next level of baseball.

14U/12U Coach
Samuel Castro
Samuel Castro is from the Dominican Republic. He played professionally for the Miami Marlins for seven years, along with two seasons of Winter Ball in the Dominican Republic with the Toros del Este.

He studied physical therapy at Keiser University for two years.
​
For the past three years, he has been dedicated to developing youth athletes, helping them grow both fundamentally and mentally in the game. He has also served as the assistant coach for a competitive baseball team, focusing on skill development, discipline, and preparation for the next level.

Skills Coach
Micah Evans
Micah Evans has four years of coaching experience. He played collegiate baseball and has also coached at the professional level.

One of his favorite achievements is having the second-longest on-base streak at the University of Central Missouri.
​
He enjoys coaching because he wants to be the coach he didn’t have while developing as a player—someone who helps athletes understand why they are doing things, not just what to do. Helping young players learn and enjoy the game he loves is what motivates him.

14U Coach
Hector Alvarez
Hector Alvarez is from Villa de Cura, Venezuela, bringing over 12 years of coaching experience and 5 years of professional playing time in the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays organizations.

With a passion for the game, he focuses on helping catchers develop their skills and grow as players.
